VOCALIST INFORMATION Q'S
1. Song title.
Traicionero
2. Vocalist name.
Liz Porcayo
3. Bio, including a couple of picture of yourself. Your current project if you wish?
Music has always been a huge part of my life. My father was a singer and taught me from a very young age. I started singing when I was 4 and never stopped. I grew up in a large family and they really couldn't afford to give me music lessons so I took up singing in choir. I continue to push myself and have recently taken up guitar. Songwriting is fun and challenging. That's why I love the idea of this project.
I am currently singing lead vocals in a Seattle band called Skies Below.

I have also been working on some side projects with other local artists and writing my own music that I plan to release as a solo project with the help of some musician friends as a back up band.
4. Also I have asked some people to do a track that are not musicians and have never performed or recorded before or not for a very long time. If this is you please specify.
5. What Genre do you typically fall under? (Feel free to make shit up)
I am a singer, I can sing anything from mariachi, salsa, jazz, pop, rock, you name it. I typically fall into the hard rock genre, my fave female singer is Janis Joplin. I really like the raw and gritty soulful sound of her voice. She sang from the heart which is what I try to do.
6. Where were the vocals recorded? Studio/engineer? DIY? Elaborate please.
My version of 3 Prong was Recorded with Chris Mathews Jr in his home studio here in Washington just north of Seattle.
7. Your thoughts on this project?
I'm a big fan of the rock scene in Seattle and know the guys in CFA. I got the message from Cody about this project and I was so excited to be part of this experiment that I said hell yeah! It was definitely a challenge that I took on with hopes to record a great vocal track. I was going through a weird time in my personal life so I wrote the lyrics about whatever was going on then. Let's just say I was pissed off at being mistreated by someone and wrote this as a message of kiss my ass.
8. Any notes you would like to add?
I'm very proud of this project and cannot wait to hear all of the different versions of this song! Special thanks to Chris Mathews Jr for taking time out and helping me with this recording. He pretty much rocks!
