Bucky Expect the unexpected. The pairing brings a warm and fuzzy delight much like the sensation of a maraschino cherry at the bottom of a glass of brute whiskey and bitters.

The album takes us on a rollercoaster of all things heavy and no roads familiar. GCG offers a Mastadonian dirge brimming with proto-rock chops and Clutchesque groove while End of Age spikes the wax with a progressive fuzz boasting with integrity and shimmering with grit.

Dave Aftandilian This split gives me really groovy 70s vibes, almost like an early unreleased Jade Warrior album or something. There’s a sense of freedom and exploration in this heavy music that harks back to a time when we weren’t all so anxious and uptight. Listening to this puts a smile on my face and makes me feel at peace.

Scott Spiers Now- I don't dance very often. It takes something- I don't know what, exactly- to get me out of my chair and flop around like a 4-year-old OD-ing on Fruity Pebbles, but this one did it. Colin M. The Turned to Stone series has been a surprisingly diverse one. That trend continues here with a decidedly retro, 70s fueled outing. I really dig it. Favorite track: Gypsy Chief Goliath - Shadows of a Solar Love.
