hatework Now this is really different from their last album. What an interesting, compelling album full of jazz, stoner, doom, and progressive elements. Gotta say I'm pleasantly suprised, its the kind of album where you discover more everytime you listen. Favorite track: Shadows.

Dave Aftandilian Spacey, proggy, doomy, jazzy--lots to love on this interstellar, introspective odyssey. Sometimes it feels like you're tripping through the stars with Sun Ra; next minute you're grooving to faeries drumming on cypress knees and gaping at frog-men playing an underwater xylophone. But fear not; Bright Curse levy plenty of heavy, too. Impressive.

Grégoire Guery Yes!! Before the shore was in my Top3 records of 2016. Their sound clearly evolved, I can't wait to hear to whole album

about

Of the upcoming album, frontman/guitarist Romain Daut says, “It’s a come-back to a doomier version of Bright Curse, more like the first EP. The songs are a bit longer and more developed, each relates a story, and all of them work together to create some kind of tale. I didn’t want to just have another heavy album, so we added some exotic instruments and I think it serves the story really well.”
