Crinklechips I’ve never heard of Appalooza until just now. I listened to this single and then spontaneously shouted yahoo!! So yeah, I like it!

The pounding tribal rhythm, the heavy riffing and a really great vocal performance all hit the spot. Looking forward to the album!

Kirk Gauthier How do you accurately describe the sound of Appalooza? Not easily; their style is both familiar and defies categorization. There are elements of stoner rock that can’t be denied, but there’s a strong edge of ‘90s grunge rock at the heart of it that adds a heaviness to the typically happy-go-lucky genre. If “Pelican” is any indication of what’s to come, 2021’s “The Holy of Holies” was just the beginning of what this band has to offer.
