Master of Alchemy John Garcia, post Kyuss, Slo Burn, Unida, teamed up with new band Hermano. I completely missed it back in 2002, so I'm ecstatic about this being re-released. Only track available to listen to on pre-order right now, The Bottle, sounds phenomenal. Garcia's amazing voice has to make him one of the very best rock singers ever, and the other band members are sh*t hot. I absolutely can not f*cking wait to hear the whole record!! Ripple Music say they have more goodies like this to come in the future! Favorite track: The Bottle.

Ioannis Valiakos Long-awaited reissue of a true classic album in the global rock genre. Had it not been for the demise of Kyuss, this album might have never happened and we probably also never have QOTSA. The sound is phenomenal and the songs sound better than ever. Stellar work by Ripple Music to give this gem back to the world. Super happy to have managed to grab a copy of the vinyl!! Favorite track: Alone Jeffe.

Colin M. As FDJ said, it is a great reissue of a freaking great album. Garcia is the voice of desert rock and is on top form here. Would love a reissue of the Slo Burn 9-tracker… *nudge nudge* Favorite track: Senor Moreno's Plan.

...Only a Suggestion is the debut studio album by the stoner rock band Hermano. Featuring the voice of Kyuss, John Garcia, and an all-star line-up, Hermano roared out of the gates blasting a magnificent brand of desert/stoner fuzz.

Formed by producer Dandy Brown as a side project in 1998, the original lineup consisted of vocalist John Garcia (Kyuss, Unida, Slo Burn), bassist Dandy Brown, drummer Steve Earle (Afghan Whigs) and guitarists Mike Callahan (Earshot) and David Angstrom (Supafuzz). After passing tapes and CDs amongst each other for six months, the band members entered the studio in early 1999 to begin recording their debut album.

Hermano proved itself a force to be reckoned with. The live shows were intense. The music hit a nerve. It was also pointed out by the press and fans that Hermano shunned the typical “rock star” stance: Hermano is about friendship, family, expression, art and life as they know it… no battle-of-the-bands, no dreams of grandeur… just a group of guys with values and talent who enjoy being with each other and making music together whenever possible.

The Ripple Edition is completely remixed and remastered under the watchful eyes and ears of the band, by David Barrik (mixing) and Ty Tabor (mastering).
