The bare-knuckle integrity of their SOUND is something one must experience LIVE. I've seen them multiple times and these DOOM METAL GODS will not disappoint. Further, "The Brink" is WORTHY and a solid album. Just a GREAT band.

Purchased this for the Solace tracks, but GDFU are a good find, too. GDFU's standout track is More Than Enough for its frenzied garage thrash-out which has an immediacy and honesty to it. As for the Solace tracks, Hammerhead is pretty awful, especially the riff and the vocals, whereas the excellent Cement Stitches gets things back on track with some thrashy hardcore aggression, while finishing track Rumble is a tedious trudge to be honest. Selective listening required.
