marcusegi Can't help but have to think of Smashing Pumpkins every now and then when listening to MoM. Must Be the voice mainly. This record is the next step for the band away from the Orange Goblin Name droppings. Remarkable Sound, pretty arrangements and Jethro Tullesque Flute placements keep End All we know intense and fresh even after the tenth spin. I am really happy with this record. Favorite track: Slingshot Around the Sun.

Crinklechips This album is in the process of getting right under my skin. Its loud and angry but its also thoughtful and progressive. M.O.M. are evolving and it’s exciting to hear.

Morass of Molasses produce awesome, distinctive, sludgy metal of the highest calibre. They have become one of my favourite bands. I can’t rate them higher than that.

Contender for my album of the year. Favorite track: Hellfayre.

Kirk Gauthier This is such a lovely slab of stoner/doom, and it makes perfect sense that Ripple Music would be behind it. Side A is all bluesy doom ‘n roll, but Side B is full of these beautiful stoner rock numbers. It’s a perfect cross section of what Morass of Molasses is all about (and that flue on “Terra Nova”? Perfection!). Favorite track: Terra Nova.
