To listen, you’d think this was some lost recording from the early ‘70s that was unearthed when the last member died and no surviving member was left to keep it from seeing the light of day. Instead, what you have is a lovingly-crafted homage to the olden days of heavy metal. Favorite track: In This Town.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) DoctoR DooM are one of those bands who could easily make the crossover from the underground to the mainstream, their music is both accessible and ear catching this is their best release to date in my humble opinion. Favorite track: What Are They Trying to Sell.

A Shadow Called Danger is the second full length album by French Retrogressive Rockers DoctoR DooM. Featuring weighty guitars, a pounding rhythm section and expressive vocals, it builds on the 70s vibe of their previous record, while bringing a heavier and more progressive sound to the table.

The band spent a lot more time getting the sounds just right and working on epic arrangements to bring forth an album that features proto-metal riffs, groovy rhythms, oppressive doom sections, lyrical vocal parts, blazing bluesy solos and much more, all in one album, sometimes even in the same song!
